Night of Champions was a professional wrestling pay-per-view show made by WWE. It was held on September 16, 2012 at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. It was the fifth WWE Night of Champions event held by the WWE.

The main event was a match between WWE Champion CM Punk and John Cena. The end of match saw Cena place Punk on the top rope and hit a bridging German suplex for the pin. The referee declared that both men had their shoulders on the mat for three seconds and ended the match in a draw.
