Nabaneeta Dev Sen
Nabaneeta Dev Sen (13 January 1938 – 7 November 2019) was an Indian poet, novelist and academic.[1]

Sen published more than 80 books in Bengali: poetry, novels, short stories, plays, literary criticism, personal essays, travelogues, humour writing, translations and children's literature. Her first collection of poems Pratham Pratyay was published in 1959.[2]
She was married to economist Amartya Sen from 1958 until their divorce in 1976.
Sen died at her home in Kolkata of lung cancer on 7 November 2019 at the age of 81.[3]
