Mesquite, Texas
Mesquite is a large city in north-central Texas. It is a part of a much larger group of cities called the Metroplex. Its population in 2020 was 150,108.
History
The city was founded on March 14, 1878. It was named after the Mesquite Creek. The city was officially created on December 3, 1887.
