Mack the Knife

"Mack the Knife" or "The Ballad of Mack the Knife" (German: "Die Moritat von Mackie Messer") is a song composed by Kurt Weill for the 1928 play The Threepenny Opera. The song has become a popular standard recorded by many artists including Louis Armstrong in 1955, Bobby Darin in 1959 and Ella Fitzgerald Grammy Award winning in 1961.
