List of lieutenant governors of Rhode Island

The office of lieutenant governor of Rhode Island is held by Sabina Matos, who was sworn in on April 14, 2021, after Daniel McKee went from Lieutenant Governor to Governor. The office is the second highest-ranking office in the state, behind the office of the governor.

Trivia

During the 2010 elections, the Cool Moose Party candidate Bob Healey ran as Lieutenant Governor wanting to officially abolish the office he was running for.[1]
