Laurens Dassen
Laurens Antonius Josephus Maria Dassen (born 19 October 1985) is a Dutch politician and former bank employee.

Dassen was born in Eindhoven and grew up in Knegsel, a village in the North Brabant municipality of Eersel. He studied business sciences at Radboud University Nijmegen and worked at ABN AMRO abroad.
In summer 2018 he was co-founder of Volt Netherlands, a department of the pan-European political party Volt Europe established in Italy in 2017. Since December 2018 he has been chairing Volt Netherlands.
Dassen leaded the Volt party into the 2021 Dutch general election in March 2021. Volt gained three seats, so he has been both parliamentary group leader and an MP since March 2021.
