Lanett, Alabama
Lanett is a city in Chambers County, Alabama, United States. At the 2020 census the population was 6,970.[2] Lanett is located in eastern Alabama, on the Chattahoochee River, northeast of Montgomery. One of the major industries is cotton milling. The city's name is derived from Lanier and Bennett, founders of the West Point Pepperell Co.
