Ken Starr

Kenneth Winston "Ken" Starr (July 21, 1946 September 13, 2022) was an American lawyer and politician. He was a federal U.S. Court of Appeals Judge and a Solicitor General. He was Independent Counsel (which was a special office that investigated government officials) while Bill Clinton was the President of the United States for the Whitewater controversy. He was the United States Solicitor General during the George H. W. Bush administration from 1989 to 1993.

Starr filed the Starr Report, which accused President Clinton of lying in court about having an affair with an intern at the White House.

Starr died at a hospital in Houston, Texas on September 13, 2022 from problems caused by surgery, aged 76.[4]
