Ken Matthews
Kenneth Joseph Matthews MBE (21 June 1934 – 3 June 2019) was a British racewalker. He was born in Birmingham. He won the gold medal in 20 km walk at the 1964 Summer Olympics, Tokyo. He also won the gold medal in the same event at the European Athletics Championships in 1962. He was added to the England Athletics Hall of Fame in 2011.
