Elkton, Maryland

Elkton is a town in and the county seat[1] of Cecil County, Maryland, United States. The population was 15,807 at the 2020 census.[2] It was formerly called Head of Elk because it is near the Elk River, which flows into the nearby Chesapeake Bay.
