Ed Flanders

Edward Paul "Ed" Flanders (December 29, 1934 – February 22, 1995)[1] was an American actor. He was best known for playing Dr. Donald Westphall in the television series St. Elsewhere. He also played Richard in the movie The Ninth Configuration.

Flanders was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He died after shooting himself in Denny, California at age 60.
