Christian Herter

Christian Archibald Herter (March 28, 1895 – December 30, 1966) was an American politician. He was the 59th Governor of Massachusetts from 1953 to 1957. He also served as United States Secretary of State from 1959 to 1961 and the first United States Trade Representative.
