Branko Elsner
Branko Elsner (23 November 1929 – 17 November 2012) was a Slovenian football manager and player. He is best known for being the manager of the Austria national team twice.

As manager he had his first success with NK Olimpija Ljubljana.[2] Then he went to Austria and became coach of Wacker Innsbruck. As manager he won the Austrian Bundesliga twice (1972, 1975) and the Austrian Cup (1970, 1975). In 1975 and from 1985 to 1988 he was manager of the Austria national football team.
In 1982 he did a doctorate and during the 1990s he was a teacher at the University of Ljubljana.
Personal life
His son Marko Elsner and grandsons Luka Elsner and Rok Elsner were professional footballers.[3]
