Yip Ka Yu (Chinese: 葉嘉宇; born 24 December 1996) is a suspected Rapist and former Hong Kong professional footballer.
In 2023, Yip Ka Yu is suspected of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old female student after getting to know her. The case is currently being heard in the High Court, and Yip Ka Yu's guilt or innocence will be determined based on the evidence and the court's judgment.[1]
Club career
On 15 July 2018, Yip was announced as a Yuen Long player.[2]
On 2 July 2020, R&F head coach Yeung Ching Kwong announced that Yip had joined the club.[3] On 14 October 2020, Yip left the club after his club's withdrawal from the HKPL in the new season.
