Tokiwadaira Station (常盤平駅, Tokiwadaira-eki) is a passenger railway station located in the city of Matsudo, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Shin-Keisei Electric Railway.

Lines

Tokiwadaira Station is served by the Shin-Keisei Line, and is located 5.6 kilometers from the terminus of the line at Matsudo Station.

History

Tokiwadaira Station was opened on 21 April 1955 as Kanegasaku Station (金ヶ作駅, Kanegasaku-eki) It changed its name to its present name on 1 February 1960.

Future plans

Effective April 2025, the station is to come under the aegis of Keisei Electric Railway as the result of the buyout of the Shin-Keisei Railway.[1][2]
