"There Goes the Neighborhood" is the debut single by Body Count. It is the twelfth track on the band's self-titled debut album. For the song's music video, the word "nigga"[2] in the lyrics was replaced with the phrase "black boys".[3] In 2023, Rolling Stone ranked the song No. 85 on their list of the 100 greatest heavy metal songs of all time.[4]
