Anuradha Devi under the Lakshmi Films Combines banner[2] and directed by Dasari Narayana Rao.[3] The film stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Jayasudha, Radhika[4] and music composed by Chakravarthy.[5] The film was recorded as a Super Hit at the box office.

Plot

Ramu, an introvert, is the son of a millionaire, Bahadoor Appa Rao, who adheres to family prestige. Many relatives surround Ramu to usurp his wealth, especially his sly maternal uncle Gopal Rao and his family. The one who showers motherly affection to him is his sister-in-law Varalamma, the wife of his deceased elder. Here, Ramu falls for a destitute Sarada, but as he obeys his father's behest, he abandons her and prepares to knit Gopal Rao's daughter, Jayamma. Indeed, Jayamma has an affair with her second cousin Giri and conceives, which Varalamma discerns. Gopal Rao ploys by attributing illicit relations between Ramu & Varalamma, which makes her quit with the infants. Following this, Ramu also moves to relinquish the property. Next, Gopal Rao intrigues Appa Rao by making him bankrupt, forges as insane, and locks up. Parallelly, Krishna, an intelligent guy, the younger of Ramu, lives with his mother Lakshmi and crushes on a girl, Satya. Once, he is acquainted with Ramu in an accident when Lakshmi spins rearward. Due to the wiles of Gopal Rao & family, Apparao has ostracised her when she is carrying. Meanwhile, Krishna segregates the fragmented family and retrieves Sarada & Varalamma, too. Even Appa Rao absconded also lands therein. Now, Krishna starts his play, teases, and ceases the cunnies. At last, he affirms in today's society, the smartness Krishna requires than Rama's righteousness. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the marriages of Ramu & Sarada and Krishna & Satya.
