The Pre-Mediterranean Cup was an association football tournament hosted by the Hellenic Football Federation in Athens. The competition was conducted once, in 1991, and the winner was AEK Athens.[1][2]

In June 1991, the only Pre-Mediterranean cup was conducted in Rizoupoli Stadium, the home ground of Apollon Athens, with the participation of the best-eight football clubs of the 1990–91 Alpha Ethniki. Olympiacos, Panathinaikos, PAOK and Iraklis forfeited the competition due to their players being tired from constant league games. In the semi-finals, AEK Athens played against Apollon Athens and won with 4–2, and OFI played against Athinaikos and won by 1–0. In the final game of the competition, AEK Athens secured a 1–0 victory against OFI and obtained the title, with the only goal of the game being scored by Takis Karagiozopoulos from the penalty spot.[3]
