Pavel Kantorek (8 February 1930 – 10 November 2023) was long-distance runner from Czechoslovakia. He was born in Prague. He represented Czechoslovakia in three consecutive Summer Olympics in the men's marathon, starting in 1956. Kantorek was a three-time winner of the Košice Peace Marathon. He set a course record of 2:19:06 at the Ostrava Marathon, a record that was still standing 52 years later.[1]

Kantorek died in Prague on 10 November 2023, at the age of 93.[2]
