The Ministry of Youth and Sports is a ministry responsible for sports and athletics-related provisions within Somalia. The current Minister of Youth and Sports is Mohamed Barre Mohamud.[1] The Ministry of Youth and Sports signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the aim of cooperation in expanding the opportunities of Somalia youth to be agents of change and actively participate in the process of State-building. The signing ceremony took place on September 28, 2022. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by His Excellency Mohammed Bar Mohamud, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Ahmed Abdurrahman Abdullahi, Representative of Interpeace in Somalia.[2]
