Majed al-Ansari is spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry of Qatar and advisor to prime minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani. He received his doctorate on social change from the University of Manchester,[1] and plays an instrumental role in the inaugural ceasefire of the 2023 Israel-Gaza war[2][3] as well as its extensions and concurrent hostage/prisoner exchanges.[4]
