Livan-e Sharqi (Persian: ليوان شرقي, also Romanized as Līvān-e Sharqī)[3] is a village in Livan Rural District of Now Kandeh District, Bandar-e Gaz County, Golestan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,410 in 683 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 2,413 people in 793 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,240 people in 757 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
