Jeremiah Smith is an American football wide receiver for the Ohio State Buckeyes, and the number-one ranked recruit in the 2024 national class.

Early life and high school

Smith lives in Hollywood, Florida and attends Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory School. He had 31 receptions for 667 yards and seven touchdowns in his sophomore season in just 7 games. Smith caught 58 passes for 1,073 yards and 20 touchdowns as a junior. He also won the FHSAA Class 2A state championship in the 110 and the 400-meter hurdles during his junior year. In his senior year he caught 90 passes for 1,389 yards and 19 touchdowns. He also led Chaminade to its 3rd consecutive state championship after catching 13 passes for 183 yards and a touchdown.

Smith is rated a five-star recruit. He is currently ranked as the number one collegiate prospect in the nation by 247Sports.com, On3.com, and Rivals.com. Smith committed to play college football at Ohio State over offers from Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, and USC.

Personal life

Smith is the cousin of NFL quarterback Geno Smith.[1]
