JECRC University (formerly Jaipur Engineering College & Research Centre) is an Indian private university located in Jaipur, Rajasthan. It is established by the Act No. 15 of 2012 of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly.

JECRC University offers several undergraduate and postgraduate-level courses and PhD programmes in science and technology, arts, commerce, health and medicine, law, etc.[2][3]

Academics and Research

Each Academic Department in JECRC University has a Research Lab to facilitate the students to carry out research. A special Research Task Force (RTF) of faculty members has been created who with the help of students undertake applied and socially relevant research in cutting-edge technologies and solutions of problems of underprivileged sections of the society on priority basis.

An amount of 16 crore rupees is received as a Research Grants from Government/ Non-Government Agencies.[4]

International collaborations

Centre for International Studies (CIS)[5]

CIS enjoys partnerships with top ranked universities in the US, allowing you impressive choices of universities to attend. It is a student study abroad program that enables students to study in the United States. Students will be required to complete the first 2 years of their degree studying on the JECRC campus and CIS enables them to complete the remaining 2 years at an international university and secure a globally recognized degree.

IAESTE[6]

The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience(IAESTE), is an independent, non-profit student exchange organization and a student-run body dedicated to providing students with opportunities for Paid International Internships and Exchange Programs. With over 80 countries involve and exchanging over 4000 traineeships each year worldwide, a total of above 400,000+ traineeships, it is the largest organization of its kind in the world.

IAESTE India LC JECRC provides students with paid, course-related training abroad and employers with highly skilled, highly motivated trainees, for long and short-term projects. Even in the tough times of pandemic, IAESTE JECRC provided many internship offers from all over the world. The recent offers were from countries like Sweden, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, and Bangladesh.

International Skill Development Corporation(ISDC)

JECRC University has partnered with ISDC – The International Skill Development Corporation to establish an International Centre of Excellence (ICoE). ISDC is a leading International Provider for British Education and Skills. ISDC is working with many Universities and an excess of 25 Professional Bodies in UK for their Market Expansion, Trans National Education and Growth. Our programs are designed to help our students to build Global Careers.

The World Rank of JECRC University is 408 in Top Mathematics Universities and all India rank is 07 by Research.com[7] in 2022.

Programs

Accelerator Programs

An intensive 10-week program for JECRC students that helps them to take their idea to the market. The program focuses on helping startups expand their knowledge via workshops and mentoring sessions. The selected startups are also given seed funding support.

Virtual Accelerator

Open to early-stage startups across the country, our virtual accelerator programs aids startup founders in speeding up their customer discovery and finding the product-market fit.

TIDE 2.0 Entrepreneur-in-Residence

Our TIDE 2.0 Entrepreneur-in-Residence program helps early-stage tech entrepreneurs to validate their idea using the program funding. The startups selected in this program get access to our incubation and mentoring support for up to 6 months. Selected startups also get an opportunity to get up to 4 lacs of grant disbursal.

TIDE 2.0 Grant @ JECRC

Under TIDE 2.0 Grant launched by MeitY, we extend financial and technical support to help startups focusing on emerging technologies. Startups supported by TIDE 2.0 can take advantage of an integrated entrepreneurial ecosystem at JECRC. The entrepreneurs are also extended grant support of up to 7 lakhs helping them to move to MVP stage.

JIC Startup School

JECRC Incubation Center's Startup School delivers an introductory call for startups, providing students with a glimpse into the startup ecosystem. It features expert guidance, interactive sessions, and valuable insights on ideation, market research, funding, marketing, and more, empowering students to embark on their entrepreneurial journey with confidence.

Ideathon

Ideathon serves as the logical progression following the JIC Startup School, enabling students to put into practice the knowledge they have acquired during the Startup School program.
