Hangovers & Hot Flashes is a 2018 novel by Kim Gruenenfelder.[1] After writing multiple bestselling novels about characters in their twenties and thirties,[2][3] Gruenenfelder set out to write a book that authentically depicted characters in their forties.[4][5] It follows three friends as they embark on new adventures of middle age: Zoe convinces her husband to begin an open marriage, Michelle faces a divorce from hers, and Alexis is going through a midlife crisis amidst early menopause.[6]
