Guri is a 1986 Indian Kannada-language action film directed by P. Vasu and produced by Parvathamma Rajkumar. The film stars Rajkumar, Archana, Mukhyamantri Chandru and Jai Jagadish, while Pandari Bai makes a guest appearance. The music was composed by Rajan–Nagendra.[1]

Guri was remade in Tamil in 1991 as Adhikari.

Plot

Kaliprasad "Kali" is a newly deputed customs officer who lives with his father and young sister. Rudrayya is a crime boss who is irritated by Kali's work in interfering his illegal business. Rudrayya invites Kali to work for him, but Kali refuses and insults Rudrayya. Rudrayya gets enraged and imprisones Kali on smuggling charges. Kali's sister kills herself and his father loses mental balance. Kali escapes from prison and plots to exact vengeance against Rudrayya. Kali soon destroys Rudrayya and his crime empire, where he succumbs to his injuries after being shot by the cops.
