Gortnaleck Court Tomb is a court cairn and National Monument located in County Sligo, Ireland.[1]
Location
Gortnaleck Court Tomb is located 2.1 km (1.3 mi) north of Benbulbin and 2.7 km (1.7 mi) east-southeast of Grange.[2]
History
Gortnaleck Court Tomb was constructed in the Neolithic, c. 4000–2500 BC.[3]
Description
The central court is 6 m (20 ft) in diameter. The west gallery is 7 m (23 ft) long and the east is 5 m (16 ft) by 2.5 m (8 ft 2 in) long.[4]
