Fara Tashkentskiy _ Tashkent Lighthouse is an Uzbek film comedy directed by Sardor Nozimov, producer of Shahrukh Murtazaev's series "Tashkent Lighthouse". Starring Javahir Zakirov, Muyassar Berdikulova and Bobur Pirmatov.[1]

The series was shot by the creators of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. At the beginning of the series, he was called "Fara". Later, since many events took place in Tashkent, the name of the series was changed to "Tashkent Lighthouse". Sheridan came up with the series during the COVID-19 pandemic. In a week, he wrote the script for the pilot series and was accepted by Javohir Zakrov into the project.[2]

Plot

An authoritative Almaty racketeer, having been in a coma for 23 years, suddenly regains consciousness. To his horror, he realizes that the year is 2021, his children have grown up, he himself has aged, and the world has changed beyond recognition. Now he has to adapt to reality and establish a relationship with his family.[3]

Creation

The beginning of the development of the TV series was announced in December 2020. At that time, the project had the working name "Fara". Its creator is Sardor Nzamov, and the presenter is Sh Murtazaev. Javahir Zakirov was approved for the main role, for whom the project became a television debut.[4] Production on the first season was ordered in February 2021. In January 2021, the name of the series was changed: The series is called Fara Tashkent, because the events of the series take place in Tashkent. Later it became known that the main roles in the series will be played by Bobur Pirmatov, Muyassar Berdykulova, Malika Avazova, Abror Sainazarov. Later, Azim Yuldashev and Ruslan Mirzaev joined the cast.[5]
