On May 19, he released "Heart Racing", a track with Nimstarr & Riovaz, along with a lyric video.

On June 2, Kanii announced the EP would release on June 15, along with an EP release show in Brooklyn, New York, with special guests wolfacejoeyy, Riovaz, and Nimstarr.
