Ecuador is scheduled to compete at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile from October 20 to November 5, 2023. This will be Ecuador's 19th appearance at the Pan American Games, having competed at every edition of the games.
On 2 October 2023, the Ecuadorian National Olympic Committee officially named the team of 167 athletes competing in thirty one sports.[1]
Athlete Daniel Pintado and weightlifter Angie Palacios were named as the country's flagbearers during the opening ceremony.[2] Cyclist Richard Carapaz later replaced Pintado.[3][4] Meanwhile, karetka José Acevedo was the country's flagbearer during the closing ceremony.
