Bavaleh (Persian: باوله, also Romanized as Bāvaleh; also known as Bāvaleh-ye Fa‘leh Korī and Bāwali)[3] is a village in Bavaleh Rural District of Bavaleh District, Sonqor County, Kermanshah province, Iran, and serves a capital of the district.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,320 in 299 households, when it was in the Central District.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,507 people in 356 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,080 people in 281 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]

In 2021, Bavaleh Rural District and Gavrud Rural District were separated from the Central District in the establishment of Bavaleh District.[4]
