Alexandra Hammel (born 16 June 1996)[1] is a field hockey player from the United States, who plays as a defender.[2][3]

Personal life

Alexandra Hammel was born in Duxbury, Massachusetts.[2]

She is a former student of Boston University.[4]

Career

Senior national team

Hammel made her senior international debut in 2020 during season two of the FIH Pro League.[5]

In 2023, she won her first medal with the national team, taking home silver at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago.[6][7][8]

She has been named in the squad for the 2024 FIH Olympic Qualifiers in Ranchi.[5]
