Abraham Temple (Hebrew: אברהם מקדש, romanized: ʾbrhm mqdš) is a synagogue located in the Gaza Strip.[1]

History

It was established during the Israeli invasion of Gaza during the 2023 Israel–Hamas war, in a converted building, as a way for soldiers of the IDF to pray amidst the war.[2]

Before the establishment of the synagogue, the IDF prayed in the Gaza synagogue, which was established in 508 during the time of the Byzantine empire.[3][4]
