Local elections will be held in Caloocan in May 2025. The voters will vote for the elective posts of mayor, vice mayor, three (3) congressional districts, and a total of eighteen (18) councilors - 6 per district.
Background
Incumbent Mayor Dale Gonzalo "Along" Malapitan won his first term in the 2022 local election.[1] He is expected to run again for a second term.
Former Senator Antonio "Sonny" Trillanes IV sought a comeback at the Senate but failed having placed 21st in the 2022 Senate election. He is expected to run for mayor against incumbent mayor Malapitan.[2] He signaled 95% likelihood to run in local elections in 2025.[3]
