The 2024 Bristol City Council election is scheduled to be held on Thursday 2 May 2024,[1] alongside the other local elections in the United Kingdom, which are being held on the same day.[2] It will elect all 70 councillors to the Bristol City Council for a four-year term.[2]

Background

At the previous election, which was held in 2021, Labour lost 13 seats, meaning that the council fell under no overall control.[3][4]
