Overview

The Tigers' 2023 season was a bittersweet symphony. Though their 4th-place finish was a record high, it came at a steep price: the departure of nearly half the roster. Top scorer Shuhei Hoshino, national team star Daniel Goh, and captain Ho Wai Loon were among those lured away by bigger clubs.

Yet, amidst the exodus, there were glimmers of hope as Coach Peter De Roo remained at the helm, guiding a revamped squad bolstered by familiar faces like Darren Teh, Ignatius Ang, Elijah Lim, Emmeric Ong, Masahiro Sugita and Alen Kozar. The team also welcome back former players in the lights of Tajeli Salamat and Hafiz Ahmad.
