The 1960 Montclair State Indians football team was an American football team that represented Monclair State College (now known as Montclair State University) as an independent during the 1960 NAIA football season. In their first year under head coach Jerry Edwards, the Indians compiled a perfect 8–0 record and outscored opponents by a total of 181 to 54. It was the second undefeated season in Montclair State history and the first since 1947. Despite their undefeated record, Montclair State was not chosen to participate in the NAIA's four-team playoffs.[1]
Junior Dick DeMasi was the team captain and received third-team honors from the United Press on the 1960 All-America team.[2]
