Etymology
Borrowed from Ottoman Turkish یأجوج و مأجوج (yeʼcuc ve meʼcuc, “Gog and Magog”),[1] crossed with xhuxh (“dwarf”) and often reanalysed as literally meaning some sort of “dwarf more dwarf”, or “[even] shorter dwarf”.
