Inherited from Ottoman Turkish اوغراشمق (uġraşmak, to struggle or fight with another or one another, to strive hard at something),[1] from Ottoman Turkish اوغرامق (uġramak, to go to, through or by a place, to meet, to encounter), from Proto-Turkic *ugra- (to meet, to go to meet, to intend),[2][3] morphologically uğra- + + -mak.
