twaalfdradige paradijshop

Dutch

Etymology

From twaalf (twelve) + draad (wire) + -ig (adjectival suffix) + paradijs (paradise) + hop (hoopoe) - but note that the hoopoe (Upupa epops) is only very distantly related to this bird, so taxonomically this is something of a misnomer.
