Etymology

Inherited from Ottoman Turkish تكسنمك (tiksinmek), from تتسنمك (titsinmek, to be disgusted, to have a dislike or loathing),[1] possibly shares common origins with titremek (to shiver).[2] Cognate with Azerbaijani diksinmək.
