Inherited from Ottoman Turkish تپه‌دن طرناغه,[1] or تپه‌دن طیرناغه (tepeden ṭırnaġa)[2] from تپه (tepe) and طرناق (ṭırnaḳ),[3][4] equivalent to tepe (top, crown; hill) + -den (ablative suffix) + tırnak (nail (finger or toe)) + -a (dative suffix), literally from the top to the nail.
