   nhát như thỏ đế ― cowardly like a rabbit

     Nói sợ thì nó chê mình nhát, mà nói không thì không đúng.

     If I said I'm afraid, he would call me chicken, and if I didn't it wouldn't be true.

This form was attested with the meaning "moment" in texts written in Northern dialects in the late 19th-20th century. In this meaning, it is probably still conserved in rural and minor Northern dialects, but is now rarely heard in the urban dialects due to the spread of the Central-Southern form.
