From Proto-Albanian *a/N(e)dri, from Proto-Indo-European *mé-ǵʰ(s)ri (locative) from *me (with). Cognate to Ancient Greek μέχρι (mékhri),[1] Old Armenian մերձ (merj), and doublet of me as well related to dorë.
