landschapspijn
Dutch

Met glyfosaat bespoten velden veroorzaken bij sommigen landschapspijn. ― Glyphosate-treated fields inflict landscape pain on some people.
Etymology
From landschap (“landscape”) + -s- + pijn (“pain”). Coined to refer specifically to the pain felt at the loss of the traditional, small-scale Dutch rural landscape, which was rich in biodiversity but which has been largely destroyed following processes of land consolidation (ruilverkaveling), the general intensification of agriculture in the Netherlands and its turn towards extreme monoculture since the post-war period.
