kuvend
Albanian
Etymology
Borrowed from Latin conventus (“meeting, assembly”). The plurale tantum kuvíse has been influenced by the alternation vís ~ vénd, or alternatively continuing a Vulgar Latin *conventiae.[1] Cognate with Aromanian cuvendã, Romanian cuvânt (“word”) and Greek κουβέντα (kouvénta, “conversation; word, phrase”).
