kaçurrel
Albanian
Etymology
Orel suggests a derivation from Proto-Slavic *kočura (“hummock”), which is otherwise unattested in South Slavic and poses semantic problems.[1] Topalli argued an internal formation from çurrel (“thin stream of water”).[2]
