     Då den glade Runius — sin tids mest firade skald — avled vid blott 34 års ålder, skall han strax före sin död hava tömt tre bägare: den första till erkänsla för livets ingång, den andra till tack för dess framgång och den tredje till välönskan för dess utgång.

     When the cheerful Runius — the most celebrated poet of his time — died at the age of just 34, he is said to have emptied three goblets shortly before his death: the first in recognition of life's commencement, the second in thanks for its success and the third to the well-wishing for its ending.
