frânc
Romanian
Etymology
Inherited from Late Latin francus (“Frank”). It may have been borrowed from Italian franco (“Frank”) or Greek Φράγκος (Frágkos, “Frank, Western European”), however the phonetical form indicates an older origin. Found in 17th century. Doublet of franc.
