From Latin flos, floris (“flower”) + coma (“hair”) + -ous.

Adjective

floricomous (not comparable)

  1. Having the head adorned with flowers.
  2. (zoology) Having a certain kind of ovipositor, characteristic of the Cnephasiini, consisting of papillae anales with a section of flat-headed setae.
